On Friday, a former member of President Donald Trump’s White House inner circle, Kellyanne Conway, admitted that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, in fact, won the election, according to the Electoral College tally.
This will undoubtedly incur some backlash from many Trump supporters still holding on to the hope that Pres. Trump can pull this out.
Conway is still one of Pres. Trump most trusted advisors and the media have beaten her up for her support for the Commander-in-chief, so this declaration is off the map for what we have seen in the past.
In an interview with Amanda Becker, Conway said the following; “If you look at the vote totals in the Electoral College tally, it looks like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will prevail. I assume the electors will certify that, and it will be official. We, as a nation, will move forward because we always do.” She added, “You always need a peaceful transfer of democracy, no matter whose administration goes into whose administration.”
Becker’s publication, The 19th, is an online publication that labels itself as a “nonprofit, nonpartisan newsroom reporting on gender, politics, and policy.”
