The Wayne County Board of Canvassers initially declined to certify their election results in a 2-2 deadlock decision.
The decision to vote against certification followed the discovery of countless discrepancies in vote tallies, and receiving more than 200 sworn affidavits regarding alleged fraud in the county.
On Tuesday, the board reversed course, unanimously voting to certify the results while also demanding that Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, a Democrat, conduct a comprehensive audit of the tally.
Then on Wednesday night, in another extraordinary turnabout, the two GOP members of Wayne County’s election board signed affidavits alleging they were bullied and misled into approving election results in Michigan’s largest city, and do not believe the votes should be certified until serious irregularities in Detroit votes are resolved.
IT’S HAPPENING – this may be Trump’s CLEAR path to victory. If the election results are not certified by the deadline, it will open an opportunity for Trump to flip Michigan. It will also set a president for future lawsuits in other states.
The reversal is itself drawing scrutiny from Trump supporters, especially after videos emerged showing a Democrat board member and a state Representative-elect seemingly threatening the Republican members who refused to certify.
Ned Staebler, whose Twitter profile said he lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan — not even in Wayne County — said the two Republicans on the board will be well known on social media, and forever remembered by people in their community as ‘racist,’ for refusing to certify due to the major discrepancies.
In another video, Democrat Abraham Aiyash accused chairwoman Monica Palmer of enabling and perpetuating “the racist history of this country.” Aiyash then went on to seemingly doxx her children, deliberately revealing which elementary school they attended.
Pearson Sharp, a Journalist for for One America News, described how the situation went down in real-time.
There were countless statistical impossibilities in Wayne county, and dozens of sworn affidavits documenting highly illegal behavior by election workers. The initial call was the correct one, the results should have never been certified.
In the 2016 election, voting machines in more than one-third of all Detroit precincts registered more votes than they should have according to Wayne County records prepared at the request of The Detroit News.
Detailed reports from the office of Wayne County Clerk showed optical scanners at 248 of the city’s 662 precincts, or 37 percent, tabulated more ballots than the number of voters tallied by workers in the poll books.
According to reports, in the 2020 election there were over 3,000 precincts where the presidential votes cast compared to the estimated voters from the Secretary of State, is 99% all the way up to 350%.
Observers who were at the TCF Center in Detroit during the absentee ballot counting for example, produced sworn affidavits claiming they witnessed workers create new voter files with information obtained from ballots. One affidavit claims election workers assigned ballots to random names already in the Qualified Voter File to people who haven’t voted in the 2020 election. The sworn statement alleges that election workers systematically used false information in order to be able to process the absentee ballots, such as false birthdays. “Election workers assigned ballots to random names already in the QVF to a person who had not voted. Defendants systematically used false information to process absentee ballots, such as using incorrect of false birthdays. Many times the election workers inserted new names into the QVF after the election and recorded these new voters as having a birthdate of 1/1/1900”
Other affidavits indicate that several boxes of ballots were brought in through the back door of the TCF center at 9pm on Wednesday. Despite election rules clearly stating that all ballots needed to be inputted into the system by 9pm on Tuesday, November 3rd, election workers inputted the entire batch into the QVF system and manually added each voter to the list after 9pm.
If Republicans are this quick to cave under pressure because of a few online anonymous accounts, and threats by a couple of democrats with questionable physiognomy, then they will cave under pressure for everything.
